Janet Surrey, a Psychologist at The Jean Miller Training Institute wrote a novel published in 2015 called The Buddha’s Wife with her husband Samuel Shem. Here she talks with Prof Denis Noble about some of the themes of the book, and how the story of this important historical and religious figure has remained largely ignored and untold for 2500 years.
The interview was given before Samuel’s lecture in Balliol College, University of Oxford.
