Prof Denis Noble, VOX presenter and renowned University of Oxford Physiologist recently participated in a debate in Boston on “The Integration of Evolutionary Biology with Physiological Science.” Given to a packed hall to all the different biology fields in the Experimental Biology Congress 2015, the debate was chaired by fellow University of Oxford academic David J. Paterson, who is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Physiology as well as the Medical Editor of VOX. The other debate participant was Michael J. Joyner, from the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA.
Speaking after the event, Denis Noble said, “This must be the clearest statement yet on what has changed in the fundamentals of biology, and why the dogmatic versions of Neo-Darwinism were a mistake.”
