Prof Peter Singer, Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University talks with the Director of Voices from Oxford, Dr Sung Hee Kim. They discuss one of the most important turning points of his life: how a lunch at Balliol College, University of Oxford made him rethink his diet, how animals are used in the food industry, and ultimately persuaded him of the merits of vegetarianism. Prof Singer also speaks of his concern for worldwide threats such as climate change and the possibility of nuclear war.
