Professor Denis Noble talks to Professor Nick Rawlins about his recent work with University of Yangon, Myanmar and how the University of Oxford is helping to bring it back to life. This followed an invitation by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi after she accepted her honourary degree from the University. They also discuss Prof Rawlin’s work in the laboratory to do with pain, and how anxiety contributes to the amount of pain experienced.
