Prof Youmin Xi is the President of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou near Shanghai, China. He founded the university in a joint venture with Liverpool University. The then Vice Chancellor of Liverpool University was Sir Drummond Bone, who is now Master of Balliol College, University of Oxford.
