Daniel Tudor is the former Korea correspondent for the Economist, as well as a prolific writer and author of three books on Korea. He shares his experience and knowledge of North Korea based on his visits to the country and from the research for his two latest books – North Korea: Undercover, and North Korea: Confidential. Daniel offers his unique take on the lives of ordinary people in North Korea – the culture and society, as well as the economy and politics of arguably the world’s most isolated and controversial nation. He voices his opinions on the matter with the understanding that they may be viewed as controversial but in the hope that the views will prompt intelligent discussion.
