Prof Nong-Moon Hwang from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University, shares his experiences of immersive thinking and his techniques to get children to be creative. Prof Hwang encourages us all to engage with immersive thinking, a process which can be difficult and take a long time with no or few results, but which can be rewarding when the creative spark eventually comes. He also gives a rundown of creative thinkers throughout history, and touches on the importance of REM sleep to the creative process.
