Prof Keith Krause is Professor of International Relations at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. In this interview with Prof Denis Noble, University of Oxford, he discusses how violence can spread through particular networks and pathways, using as an example the events in Tunisia which sparked the Arab Spring, and was followed by the Syrian civil war and the subsequent rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
