Dr Tim Hubbard from King’s College, London and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute gives a talk in a series of seminars on privacy issues in genomic medicine, funded by the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute and supported by the Oxford Internet Institute. He discusses how medical research could still continue without compromising genomic privacy by separating the original data from researchers through encryption and informational silos.
