Originally from Changchun, China, Dr Tianyi Zhang studied for her BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and then completed a MRes in Structural Molecular Biology at Imperial College London, UK. She gained her DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford in 2016, and has been working as a Research Associate in the same department since 2017. Her research interests include epigenetics, and chromatin structure and function.
