Prof Denis Noble interviews Dr Anne Kiltie, Clinical Group Leader at the CRUK/MRC – Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology, University of Oxford. We learn more about the latest treatments to cure cancer, in particular about Dr Kiltie’s specialism concerning bladder cancer. They also talk about some of the myths about the illness and how nowadays patients should not see their diagnosis as necessarily a death sentence. As Dr Kiltie explains there are more options and research that are helping to find ways to beat cancer.
