Professor Nigel Smart, Department of Computer Science, University of Bristol gives a talk in a series of seminars on privacy issues in genomic medicine, funded by the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute and supported by the Oxford Internet Institute. He discusses how encrypted databases work to protect the information and how there is still a lot of work to be done to stop the information from leaking.
